Series 30 uses 30 LEDs per meter (about 9 LEDs per ft.) and is economic to use, designed for lower-level, indirect accent lighting projects such as above cabinets, coves, tray ceilings and toe kicks. These models permit the greatest run lengths for large-scale cove lighting projects.

Series 60 uses 60 LEDs per meter (about 18 LEDs per ft.) and is good all-around solution for any accent lighting project, and well suited for under cabinets and anywhere general task lighting is desired.

Series 120 uses 120 LEDs per meter (about 36 LEDs per ft.). High density LEDs allow for the tape light to be installed close to an adjacent surface, providing the most seamless illumination with no bright light spots. Series 120 is appropriate for more demanding task lighting projects where brighter illumination is required over the work surface. Select a dimmer with this model to achieve a near-seamless effect at any light level.

Custom Color RibbonFlex Pro RGB LED tape lighting can produce an endless array of colors, plus variations of white, for exceptionally versatile, dramatic creative lighting. It is available in two brightness options, 30 or 60 LEDs per meter. RGB lighting requires a color controller to blend red, green and blue LEDs to create custom colors and automated color-changing scenes and effects.

Brightness is determined by the density of the LEDs (30 or 60 LEDs per meter).

Bright – 30 LEDs per meter is well suited for decorative indirect lighting such as above cabinets, in coves, and in tray ceilings – where ambience is the primary effect.

Brightest – 60 LEDs per meter provides brighter illumination for under cabinets and in toe-kick areas, where a brighter, more seamless glow is desired. It is a good, all-around solution for accent lighting and lower brightness task lighting.

Brightness Options
Select the model with the brightness appropriate for your lighting application. Brighter models are more expensive and use more energy. A higher brightness model is not needed for every lighting application. When in doubt, select a brighter model and use a dimmer.

0-100% Full Range Dimming
All RibbonFlex Pro models are fully dimmable with standard 120V AC dimmers when used with Armacost Lighting’s AC Dimmable LED Power Supplies/Drivers. They are also dimmable with Armacost Lighting’s line of 12 and 24-volt dimmers, wireless and Wi-Fi controls, (iOS and Android).
