Prefer to customize your Float wine display layout with a specific number of bottles? Purchase this set of 4 high-tension steel cables with floor and ceiling mounting attachments. Glass cradles with clips that affix to the cables are sold separately. These 4 cables will provide the structure for one column of racking.
Mounting Options: Mount to a standard flat ceiling with a standard cable set, or to a sloped ceiling by choosing the sloped ceiling attachment option. Note that both options require solid structural backing in the ceiling for a secure installation.
Cable Length Options: Standard cables are 12 feet long to accommodate ceilings up to 12 feet high. They can be shortened for lower ceilings. For ceilings taller than 12 feet, up to 20 feet tall, purchase 20 foot cables that can be cut down to fit your specific ceiling height.
SOLID STRUCTURAL BACKING IS REQUIRED in your floor and ceiling for successful installation (3/4″ plywood is recommended). This is critical to a successful installation. Note that we will not accept returns of product damaged due to improper installation.

- Width (label forward orientation) – 8” (once glass cradle is attached), although min 13” is recommended per column (bottles are wider than the rack)
- Width (neck forward orientation) – 6 3/4″ (once clips are attached)
- Depth (label forward orientation) – 6 3/4″ (once clips are attached)
- Depth (neck forward orientation) – 8” (once glass cradle is attached), although min 13” is recommended per column (bottles are wider than the rack)
- Bottle Storage Capacity – None. You must purchase bottle cradles with clips separately.
All Float racking steel cables and metal clips come with a two year warranty against corrosion and deterioration. This warranty presumes proper installation with sufficient backing. Improper installation can result in the failure of cables, subsequent glass shelving/wine bottle breakage and damage to flooring and surrounding materials. Damages due to improper installation are not covered under this warranty.
Photos of the cables/clips and installation must be included along with detailed quantities and pieces affected. Return of the damaged product may be requested. Replacement of the damaged product will be processed by Blue Grouse Wine Cellars as soon as possible with standard ground shipping included.
There is no warranty offered for the glass bottle support shelving given that breakage can be caused during installation where too much force is applied when tightening clips.
Please note that we strongly recommend purchasing extra glass bottle support shelves, to avoid having to place a separate order for replacement shelves.
This warranty is limited to replacement parts and does not cover related property or contents damage.
