WineZone Ductless Split 6000a Series

  • Only one line voltage circuit needed.
  • Does not use the crankcase pressure regulator. Easier for the tech to install and adjust
  • Variable speed condenser fan speed controller does not cycle the condenser fan motor on and off. The fan quietly speeds up and slows down so the end user doesn’t hear the fan turn on and off.
  • Longer line set can be run. Maximum length has increase to 200 equivalent feet from 80 equivalent feet.
  • Condenser control panel marked the same as the thermostat so the control wiring is easier for the tech to understand.
  • The evaporator fan motor now controlled by the thermostat fan switch.
  • The end user can run the fan continuously or allow it to cycle with the cooling unit with a flip of a switch on the thermostat.
  • The WineZone thermostat can control the cooling unit and Wine Guardian® humidifier for customers that wish to install standalone humidifiers.
  • No water cooled condenser available yet.
  • Requires additional clearance around the evaporator.
  • Cannot have any obstruction in front of evaporator to conceal evaporator, including grille covers.

Ductless Split System
Winezone Split Refrigeration System Diagram for a Wine Cellar
• Most economical split system to purchase and install
• Allows transfer of heat to a room not adjacent to cellar
• This unit is perfect for both long storage as well as commercial applications where the wine will be turned over quickly
• For rooms already constructed, rooms with concrete or brick walls, and rooms without space for ducting
• For cellars without access to a mechanical room to house an air handler
• Can be used with either an indoor or outdoor remote condensing unit, moving heat and noise away from the cellar
• Extremely quiet, attractive, wall mounted evaporator
• Attractive, 24V digital thermostat with large display controls the system
• Must be installed and adjusted by a qualified HVAC technician

Ductless Evaporator:
• Low noise evaporator fan and remote condenser design
• Economical way to cool, even where installing ductwork is impractical or impossible
• Requires only one small hole through wall to run lines for refrigerant, electric and condensate drain
• Washable filters
• Stylish grille cover is easily detached and cleaned

Indoor condenser:
• UL listed Copeland® commercial condensing unit.
• Uses R-134a refrigerant
• Air cooled units standard
• Receiver for use with thermostatic expansion valve
• 4″ galvanized iron base
• Variable Speed Fan control
• Crankcase heater on all models
Indoor Condenser

• Uses R134a refrigerant
• Air cooled units standard
• Receiver for use with thermostatic expansion valve
• Rainproof control panel box with liquid tight conduit on control panel
• Variable Speed Fan control
• Crankcase heater on all models
Outdoor Condenser

Outdoor Enclosure:
• UL Listed enclosure
• Galvanized steel base
• 20 GA. Galvanized steel cabinet
• Hinged access for easier servicing
• Wind safety latch
• All season weather protection

  • Front louvers at 45° angle
  • Rain trough under hinge to catch moisture that might seep through hinge
  • Condenser screen protected with high temperature baked-on clear lacquer coating

Pro 1 Thermostat:
• Attractive styling complements any décor
• Large display for easy readability
• Keys are located by the display for easy access
• Easy installation, setup and self test saves installer time
• Set points permanently held in memory and are retained during power outages

The holes shown are the best locations to route the refrigerant lines, condensate drain, and electric. For installations where the line set will be accessible on the backside of the wall, use the suggested route. When that is not possible, and the line set will be run inside the wall before the drywall is installed, use the alternate route. This will leave the flare connections exposed so they can be connected after the walls are finished.
